Sweet Times

Sweet times occur to some
In brilliant beats of motion.
Time so treasured - done...
But captured in emotion.

Such simple things we seek
For smiles upon our faces -
We hush the fears that speak
And override their basis.

But hark the friend and foe about
Who timely tends the fall.
For never has be gone without -
And timely, Death knows all.

Yet these two conflict in sight -
We fear, but travel on despite,
And push with pressure-testing might
To know sweet time's delight.
